@User12345678910 Due to the current global COVID-19 situation, we're seeing an influx of customers coming in for support and we appreciate your patience.
That said, here's all you need to know:
An Enter the WPS PIN for your printer message displays, and you cannot find the PIN (password) to complete the printer setup.
When this message displays, the PIN is temporarily shown on the printer touchscreen or is on an information sheet that automatically prints. You have a short time (90 seconds for many models) to enter the PIN before it becomes invalid. Restarting the computer and going through the printer setup process again generates a new PIN.
If you cannot complete the setup with the WPS PIN, click Cancel and install the HP Smart app instead. During the installation, you are prompted to set up the printer connection.
-
Windows 10: Go to Microsoft Store - HP Smart to install and set up the app with your printer.
-
Android and Apple mobile devices, and Mac computers: Go to 123.hp.com, enter your printer model, and then follow the instructions to install the app.
NOTE:
If HP Smart is not available, install the driver provided by 123.hp.com, use Apple AirPrint (macOS and OS X), or go to HP Software and Driver Downloads for more options.
