Need driver location
08-19-2018 05:55 AM

Had to replace my HDD. All is well with the exception of finding drivers for two devices. Touchscreen and Network controler. Does anyone have location for them?

Hi:
Did you try this touchscreen driver from the 8300 Elite AIO support page?
his package provides an update to the NextWindow Voltron Touch Screen 6214 driver for the supported desktop models and supported operating systems.
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp60501-61000/sp60977.exe
The network controller device is the wifi card that needs a driver.
Please post the hardware ID for the Network Controller device, so I can figure out what model wifi card it is and what driver it needs.
Use this guide for how to find the hardware ID for a device...

Well guys and gals, after working with this group of helpers, HP tech support, and driveragent for about 3 days; to solve the problem, required me to install Win 10. There must be something MS has figured out to keep pushing us onward and upward to their newest O/S.....
