Need help getting drivers for this old pc

PC: HP Pavilion 500-242ea Desktop PC

OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 32-Bit

Problem from Windows Network Diagnostics: Windows could not find a driver for your network adapter

I want to get the driver but the official site not helping at all,should i just leave it be?

According to the parts list for your PC it has an Atheros ethernet adapter and an Atheros Wi-Fi adapter.

This reputable 3rd party website has the drivers you need for your PC.

HP Pavilion 500-242ea drivers for Windows 7 64-bit

You want the Atheros wireless adapter driver and the Atheros ethernet controller driver.

You will probably need the audio and AMD graphics driver too.

If the the display adapters device manager category shows a Standard VGA adapter, then you need to install the graphics driver.

Although on this specific pc i think the previous owner swapped it out to windows 7 ultimate 32bit for idk what and i dont think these drivers will work on here since of the difference in architecture so should i just keep looking for a driver for this or try and get a way to change the os to 64bit.Also thinking of building a pc so should i just let this be.

i just found the driver and missed it but i forgot to specify im using an Ethernet cable will the wireles driver still work?

Just ran into this issue:

Your system does not meet the minimum requirements for this update.

Update has been cancelled.(9996)

Use this Wi-Fi driver instead:

Qualcomm Atheros QCA9000 Series Wireless LAN Driver 

sp64676.exe
