Need wireless network drivers for my HP Pavilion Media Center m8307c Desktop PC

Not sure how but I no longer have a wireless connection to the internet.  Then when I try to start over and add as a new wireless connection, there isn't an option for wireless.  only broadband and ethernet.  I can't find the original install disk.

Hi:

The product specs page for your model indicate that it does not come with built in wireless networking, nor are there any wireless network adapter drivers on the support page.

If you are sure the PC has wireless networking, then if the wireless network adapter needs a driver, there will be a device listed in the device manager under an Other Devices category labeled as a Network Controller.

If you see such a device, please post the hardware ID for it, so I can see who makes it and try to find a driver for it.

If you don't see such a device, then either the wifi adapter died on you, or the product specs are correct...no wireless networking came with the PC

Thanks so much for your assistance.  Without your response, I would have been running in circles for days.  Based on your response I wound up exploring all of the wires and plugs behind/under the desk.  Turns out that there is a Powerlink adapter under all that mess that had come loose. Once I made sure it was plugged in correctly I was able to connect to the internet.  Thanks again.

Glad it was just a disconnected external wifi adapter.
