How do I find out what the network card is capable of. Just 100m or can it go to 1gb. With some ISPs now offering speeds of more than 100m, what is my HP Desktop TP01-2000a capable of using. Currys did not know the answer nor did the HP chatline

Hi:
Based on the product number you posted, here is the link to the product specs for your PC:
HP Pavilion Desktop TP01-2000na PC Product Specifications | HP® Customer Support
It has a gigabit ethernet adapter, and a wifi adapter that is capable of a max throughput of 867 MBPS on the 5.0 GHz wifi band with an excellent wifi signal.
If you are connecting via ethernet, I recommend that you use CAT 6 ethernet cables to link all of your equipment (Cable/DSL modem, router and from the router to the PC).
