No choice but to use wireless

HP Recommended
110-430t Desktop
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am disgusted. I had an issue on my previous desktop due to constant dropping of internet with ethernet connect. My PC was under warranty at the time (2014).  Working with HP and my ISP provider blamed each other with me in the middle for more than a month. I returned my unit for testing and the mother board was replaced. After return received, connet with ethernet and constant drop of internet.  A new unit sent and it did the same thing. A 2nd new unit received and it also did the same. I had NO CHOICE but to use wireless. I even had an HP tech at my home to check things over who recommended replacement. My unit(s) will not operate on Ethernet. WHY??? At that time I only had 25 mb access which was increased to 50 by my provider. I was never able to go past a speed of 35. My provider increased speeds automatically to 200 and I never made it to 50.  I now have speeds available at 400 and with Ethernet, I can read 90 but with a constant connection drop. I'm back on wireless and 45 mb max speed. Provider blames the PC and of course, we now find that it is and has always been the PC and should have been caught and fixed in 2014 but wasn't. I can't even change/update my Network Interface Card to what may correct the problem. My unit is no longer under warranty and I'm stuck in the middle again. I will never, ever purchase another HP product again.

I am not wealthy making it easy to replace a device every year. I used my old Dell for 12 years until XP stopped being supported. I also knew it would not be able to handle all the updates/upgrades needed and why I finally bought a new unit. My mistake was not sticking with Dell.

Not only was the ethernet cable replaced multiple times, the modem and PC's were changed. Last week, a new modem, cable and even work on the entire house's wiring was replaced or repaired. I considered charging room and board to the ISP for all their visits to my home. The many techs, including the HP tech connected via ethernet and experience no problems which pointed the finger at HP.  HP considered my case closed after it finaly worked with wireless.

Yes I am sorry that I did not demand a refund. But, with wireless, I was able to finally connect to the internet, slow or fast. I always preferred ethernet as it is more stable.
