RTL8188EE 802.11 bgn wifi adapter not working correctly
05-04-2018 11:21 AM

My HP notebook with a Realtek RTL8188EE 802.11 bgn wifi adapter can't connect to a unifi router but to a phone hotspot it can.
And the unifi router works perfectly, other devices can connect normally to it.
I tried everything already, even a factory restore, but with no help.
Has someone a suggestion of how to fix this.
P.S Notebook is less than a year old.

Welcome to HP Forums,
This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips,
Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you out!
As I understand the WiFi adapter isn't working as it normally should,
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:
Did you attempt to install the latest drivers from HP website?
(Click here, if you haven't done that yet)
The best way to resolve the issue is by using the HP Guided Troubleshooter:
(simply select your description of the issue from the bottom of the screen to gain access to the next set of steps that should resolve your concern).
Keep me posted,
If the information I've provided was helpful,
give us some reinforcement by clicking the solution and kudos buttons,
that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!
Good Luck.
