I am having the same problem. I contacted Microsoft to update my drivers (they were missing), and when trying to reinstall from the HP site he noticed that the drivers are not compatible with Windows 10 only Windows 8. What would be your solution? I am currently using a ethernet cable in another room, but that is only temporary.
I appreciate your support.

Hi:
If you have the same issue with the same wifi adapter, you will need to purchase an external USB wifi adapter.
There are W10 drivers for the Ralink wifi adapter but they are over 4 years old and don't work on the latest releases of W10.

Yes, there are a lot of options.
This one seems pretty decent at an affordable price.
This one is about the same but has more reviews and is a little more expensive.
Then of course you can spend more, and get a name brand wifi adapter like this one...
I've really liked all of the Linksys USB wifi adapters I've owned, but I don't have any first hand experience with the AE6000.
