HP ENVY Desktop PC TE02-0000i RCTO Base Model
Microsoft Windows 11

Have a month old Envy Desktop that can't achieve network connection speeds above 2-3Mbps. Other HP desktops in the house achieve 10-12Mbps on the same Orbi95 router setup. This new HP desktop has a  Realtek RTL8852AE Wifi 6 802.11ax PCle Adapter. In working with HP Support, they say the soltuion is to wipe the hard drive and re-install Windows 11. I then have to re-install all of the software that I've spent the time to install. Based upon my limited knowledge and research, I suspect the adapter and or its drivers. This thread seems to support my theory, but I'm not sure. Anyone else have this specific issue?

Hi @LenTRaley

Welcome to the HP Support Community. Thanks for bringing this to our notice.

I see that you are facing slow internet-related issues on your system. Do not worry, we are here to fix it.

May I know from when are you facing this issue?

Did you make any hardware or software-related changes to it?

May I know if you have already performed Operating system reinstallation?

Could you try connecting your system to the mobile hotspot to check if the issue persists?

Also, you may follow the steps shared in the link below and let me know the outcome of it: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c03460887

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
