HP ProCurve1810G-24

We have a switch and it stopped working.
Makes a whining noise and all the leds (POWER FAULT LOCATOR) light up. 
Can't reach it's IP address, so basicly dead.
I think there should be a lifetime warranty, but HP web site doesn't recognize the serial number of this device.
I registered a company profile to support and confirmed it with the code I got in email but still the support doesn't let me make a case.
It says "Register your external account

Email ID not registered in the portal."
While I'm already logged in the service.
No phone number or email ANYWHERE!
Terrible support!

Which is back to square one.
I have spend hours trying to find contact information to a company this size, this is ridicululous...
