Hi:
My guess is that your notebook came with a Ralink RT3290 Wi-Fi adapter with Bluetooth and on the newer builds of W10, the adapter simply disappears from the device manager never to return.
Your only options would be to:
Go back to Windows 8.1 (not recommended because support for W8.1 ended this month).
Purchase a USB wifi adapter and use that to connect wirelessly.
Replace and upgrade the Ralink Wi-Fi adapter to this model which is dual band AC and also has Bluetooth:
Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 802.11 ac 2x2 Wi-Fi + BT 4.0 HP Part # 710661-001
You should be able to find this model Wi-Fi adapter on eBay.
Search by the HP part number, not the model of the Wi-Fi adapter.
Below is the link to the service manual where you can find the Wi-Fi adapter removal and replacement procedure.
