Hi Guys

 

Having a very strange issue with a USB-C RJ45 Adapter on both my HP elitebook 1030 g4 and Desktop mini G5.

 

I have a HP RJ45 usb c adapter and when I plug it in the PC sees the adapter but it will not identify the network. It tries for 2 seconds every 5 minutes but just fails. I have tried 5 adapters across 3 of my HP equipment and these adapters just wont work. 

 

The network connection is solid and works with the onboard ethernet on the mini and other machines so its not that or the cable. I have disabled thunderbolt security on the BIOS and still nothing. Nothing I try will make these adapters work
