Product: EliteOne 800 G1
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I´m not able to discover Bluetooth wireless keyboard or audio with my EliteOne 800 G1 on Win 10 x64 Professional.

The desktop is equipped with an Atheros AR9462 (Partnumber 701398-001). Specs for the Atheros AR9462 in the QuickSpecs Overview of the EliteOne 800 G1 are

  • HP WLAN 802.11a/b/g/n Wireless 2x2 Dual-Band Minicard with Bluetooth Combo
  • Chipset Atheros AR9462
  • System interface PCI-Express Mini Card
  • Network standard 802.11 a/b/g/n
  • Frequency band Bluetooth: 2.402 - 2.480 GHz
  • Frequency band Wi-Fi 802.11a/n – 4.9 – 4.95 GHz (Japan), 5.15 – 5.25 GHz, 5.25 – 5.35 GHz, 5.47 – 5.725 GHz, 5.825 – 5.850 GHz, 802.11b/g/n 2.402-2.482 GHz
  • Bluetooth The WLAN + Bluetooth Combo Mini Card meets all of the requirements to support Bluetooth 4.0 and is backwards compatible with 2.1 with EDR and 3.0 High speed.

 

All my devices can be paired with any other Win 10 Home x64 and even with my Linux Debian Sid Laptop and my Android 9 smart phone.

 

Drivers are up to date and working - everything is fine in the device manager.

The only device that is discovered is FireTV Stick when I use the option "Add a device + Everthing else Xbox controller with Wireless Adapter, DLNA, and more".

 

Do you have any ideas?

Does the Atheros AR9462 even support Bluetooth HID?

Is there any difference between Win 10 x64 Professional and Home edition regarding Bluetooth?
