HP CTO 21-2040XT
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, I have an HP CTO 21-2040XT and am looking to upgrade the wifi card so that the pc can connect to 5G Networks.

The current Wifi Part # according to partsurfer is 752601-001 and it's called WLAN R SKYRAY BGN 1x1 BT4 CB.

My system info is:

Product Name: HP 21-2040xt AiO PC

Product Number: J6S77AV#ABA

Is there a board that will replace the one that's in here already, that will allow me to connect to 5G networks?

@fire_bug11 Greetings from the HP Community!

I must let you know that HP does not recommend upgrades or hardware changes as the device is equipped with parts that perform at its optimal performance by design, that said, the upgradeable parts listed by HP articles are purely for your ease, as the decision to upgrade will be at your own discretion, that said, I personally suggest you either check with a local tech to test a 5g mini pci-e card on the device before purchasing one or get an external USB WiFi dongle instead as its just a plug & play and wouldn't have any compatibility issues either.

I hope that answers your query,
