Hello, I have the Realtek RTL8723BE 802.11 bgn Wi-Fi Adapter, with Windows 10, and want to know if I can upgrade or install a differant card, allowing both 2.4 and 5GHZ.

I came across a similar question on the forum , which gave this as an option

@Bdun111

A very warm welcome to the HP community. A very good day to you.

I understand that you would like to upgrade the existing wireless card to another card which can support both 2.4 and 5 GHz networks on your HP Pavilion Desktop - 510-p109 PC.

I would like to mention that HP does not recommend any changes to the existing hardware configuration. However, you may upgrade the wireless at your discretion. We have not tested this wireless card on the PC and therefore cannot speculate as of now when it comes to the network transmission. The card may physically fit into the PC.

Here is a list of parts that have been tested with this PC: http://partsurfer.hp.com/Search.aspx?searchText=Y4F76PA

I hope this answers your question. Let me know if you have any further questions.

Good luck! 🙂
