My computer is giving me a "No connections available error." I have spoken with the cable company and they said I needed to contact the manufacturer of the computer. It was working fine a few weeks ago and now I cant get online. My computer is in one room and the modem is in my sons room where he plays his game. I cant hook it up through ethernet because of that. My other devices get online but not my computer. I have deset it back to factory settings and it still dont work. Any advice is apprecitaed. Thanks!

@SWesley Welcome to HP Community!
I understand that you are getting No connection available error.
Here's a related HP Forums post that seems to have helped others: Click here
I have a few steps to resolve the issue:
-
Since you've already reinstalled drivers, I would recommend using an Ethernet cable (Wired) and update your Wi-Fi drivers using this link
-
Update the bios by visiting this link or through a support assistant using an Ethernet cable.
-
Now try to connect to the internet wireless.
The best way to resolve the issue is by using the HP Guided Troubleshooter:
Click here to access it (simply select your description of the issue from the bottom of the screen to gain access to the next set of steps that should resolve your concern).
