So I am attempting to fix a computer for a friend, due to them needing it for school, but the computer does not identify any WiFi connections, and they are unable to get access to an ethernet cable, and I have been doing research online to find a solution, but so far nothing has work

I have tried resetting network settings, Updating Windows and Drivers, doing a fresh reinstall of Drivers, and physically looking at the chip on the motherboard for signs of damage

the Chip in question is a Realtek RTL8821CE 802.11ac PCIe Adapter currently on Driver Version 2024.0.10.209

I have looked through the forums and tried the solutions suggested but to no avail, and from what I can tell the computer is reading the chip fine, but no Networks show up, even though I know multiple are available to connect to, so any help is appreciated

Hi:

Assuming the thin and delicate antenna wire is connected to the wifi card's antenna terminal, the only suggestion I can offer, would be to update the wifi driver to the latest version which is  2024.0.10.218.
