HP ENVY Notebook m7-u009dx (ENERGY STAR)

My computer is 7 years old. I have windows 10. For the last two years, I have been using my iPhone hotspot for internet. Two days ago, I noticed a change. When on the internet, if I text or make a call, my internet connection on laptop drops immditley! Have have done all the normal stuff. Clear my cookies, cleared my cache, defraged, reset network connection. I do not understand why this started happening. My wife has a computer, another HP and my kids have apples. We all have the same IPhones.  Everything works for them, but mine does not. What could this be?
