I just purchased a PC TG-01, a gaming PC. The moment I turned it on and connected it to the wifi, the speed is, at most, 1 / 10th of what it should be. anywhere from 2 mpbs to 40 mpbs.
I restarted my PC multiple times.
I restarted the router multiple times.
My phone speed test is 300mpbs.
Scanned for virus and malware and found none.
Thoughts? Anything will help.
Thanks

Your system comes with either an Intel or an Realtek wireless device. Please check your device manager
If intel try this driver
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp135501-136000/sp135768.exe
If Realtek try this driver
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp136501-137000/sp136688.exe
it is possible the HP support assistant might find a newer driver. Try running the HP SA update
if problem still occurs then force 5ghz speed and find a clear Wi-Fi channel
