Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello My all in One Pavilion B010 came with windows 8. We upgraded to windows 10. a while ago. our pc was stuck on logo screen so we performed an OS restore windows 10. everything works good, we are just missing the wifi connectivity. there is no connectivity at all. there is no driver for wifi also. i looked it up but it only has for windows 8 drivers. 

what should i do?

Hi:

 

The parts list for your PC indicates that it come with a  RT5390 b/g/n wifi adapter.

 

When you upgrade to W10, since that card is old, it is a very common issue for it to completely disappear from the device manager.

 

You can try this, but I doubt it will work...

 

Download and run this W10 Ralink wifi driver.  It is the only one Ralink released for W10.

Go to the device manager.  On the top of the device manager window, click on the View tab.

 

Select the Show Hidden Devices option.

 

Go down the list to the Network adapters device manager category, and click to expand it.

 

You should see the Ralink RT5390 in light shade.

 

Right click on it and select Uninstall.   Check the Uninstall driver box.  Restart the PC and see if the wifi adapter gets installed so that it shows up normally.

 

If not, then your only other option would be to purchase an external USB wifi adapter that is compatible with W10.
