HP Pavilion 110-417c
HP Pavilion running Linux Mint 21.1
Product # J4W29AAR#ABA
The current wifi card is Realtek RTL8188EE Wireless Network Adapter with 2.4 GHz band and max speed of 80 Mbps according to https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c04444085.
1. I am looking to improve my wifi speed and also enable use of 5 GHz wifi if possible. Is there a wifi card that would provide this which would be compatible with my PC which is available for purchase?
2. Link above states "Antennas: Supports both single and dual antenna configurations". Is it possible that my PC is configured to use single antenna configuration and would configuring to dual antenna help performance? How can I tell and how can I change config?
Thanks!
