Hi @miranda55,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with your HP Envy Photo 7855 printer. If the display is frozen on the HP logo and you're unable to fix it, here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try.

  • Power cycle the printer: Disconnect the power cord from the printer and wait for about 30 seconds. Then, reconnect the power cord and turn on the printer. This can sometimes resolve minor software glitches.
  • Perform a firmware update: Visit the official HP support website and search for the latest firmware update for your specific printer model. Follow the instructions provided to download and install the update onto your printer. Firmware updates often include bug fixes that can resolve issues with the device.
  • Reset the printer: Locate the reset button on your printer (usually a small hole) and use a paperclip or a similar object to press and hold the button for about 5-10 seconds. This will reset the printer to its default settings. Afterward, try turning it on again and see if the issue persists.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.

Hello Alden4. Thank you for your quick reply. I tried the steps mentioned other than hit the reset button. Can you tell me the location of this button. We cannot locate it anywhere. The model is noted in subject line. Thank you.
