HP ENVY 34 inch All-in-One Desktop PC 34-c0000 (388P6AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

I have the HP ENVY All-in-One 34-c0440xt and the wireless charging base will charge for a minute or so and will then stop. I have to remove the phone and move it around but that does not solve the issue. I have tried charging multiple iPhones and Samsung phones and the issue occurs no matter what phone is placed on the pad. I also have to place the phones in the perfect spot or it will not charge. I have rotated the phones a full 360 degrees to see if I can find the sweet spot to no avail. I went in to the OSD and nothing seems wrong there so I'm wondering if the issue is with the pad itself. Just wondering if anyone else is having a similar issue before escalating to HP Support. Thank you.

Take the protective case off of the smartphone and see if it charges OK

If it still has problems then return the charging device if you do not want it.

My opinion, worth 0.02c, is Apple and other OEM's will eventually start checking to see if the Wi-Fi charging device is "blessed" and will not allow the phone to be charged unless you buy one of their "blessed" wi-fi chargers.

You should stick with QPI certified charging stations or whatever they call it.

Removing the cases off all the iPhone and Android devices was part of my troubleshooting steps but that solved nothing. Unfortunately, the charging pad is actually the base of the monitor itself since it's a AIO system so I may just need to reach out to HP for help. This PC has been buggy as hell. Don't get me started on the fan noise. Thank you.

One of the first things to do when the wireless charging pad is not working is restarting the phone. Then you can try charging again. If the problem is ongoing, try repositioning the phone on the charging pad, resetting, or updating the phone

Unfortunately, the iPhone seems to be going the way of Windows and rebooting the phone solves all sorts of unexplainable problems.
