Hi @katemiller,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand you are HP DeskJet 3755 printer doesn't have Wi-Fi Direct capabilities and your router doesn't support WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) or similar methods for easy connection, you can still manually connect the printer to your computer using a USB cable.

Here's how you can do it:

  • Prepare your printer: Ensure that your printer is powered on and ready. Connect it to your computer using a USB cable. Make sure the cable is securely connected to both the printer and your computer.
  • Install the printer driver: If you haven't already done so, you may need to install the printer driver on your computer. You can usually download the driver from the HP website. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the driver.
  • Set up the printer on your computer: Once the driver is installed, your computer should recognize the printer. Follow any additional prompts or instructions to complete the setup process.
  • Print a test page: After the printer is set up on your computer, you can print a test page to ensure that everything is working correctly. You can usually do this by selecting the printer from the list of available printers on your computer and choosing the option to print a test page.
  • Configure printer settings (optional): Depending on your printing needs, you may want to configure additional settings such as paper size, print quality, etc. You can usually do this through the printer properties or settings menu on your computer.
