Took cover off to clean cooling fan and a little black wire came loose from the motherboard.  I think it is my wireless antenna because it will not connect to my network now.  I cannot find where it should connect.

Hi:

 

Yes, that sounds like the wifi antenna wire got disconnected from the wifi card.

 

This is what the wireless card looks like.

It will be lying flat on the motherboard, and you connect the antenna wire to the terminal marked 1.

 

The card is about an inch wide and 3/4 of an inch long.

 

You center the antenna connector over the terminal and push down on it, and it will snap on over the connector.
