Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

i still have the original HP keyboard that came with my HP Envy but i opted out for a logitech keyboard.  Is it possible to still use the original keyboard or to see if its working to pass on to a friend?  If so, how

There are thousands of different models/products called keyboards.  What is your HP keyboard ? Many wireless keyboards require the USB dongle (receiver) to work.
