My HP PC internet upload speed is limited to 1.2mbs on one PC only.  Other PC's when connected to same LAN cable do not have that problem.

@Jimzed I suggest you update the wireless adapter, Chipset and the BIOS using the HP website: Click here to find and install the same,

Once done, you should be able to get the speed you prefer, if it doesn't work, please run the below test to identify the issue:

Hold the power button for at least five seconds to turn off the computer.

Turn on the computer and immediately press Esc repeatedly, about once every second. When the menu appears, press the F2 key.

On the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics (UEFI) main menu, click System Tests.

Click Extensive Test.

Click Run once, or Loop until error.

While the test is running, the time remaining and test result for each component display on the screen.

If a component fails a test, write down the failure ID (24-digit code) for when you respond back to us.

Thanks for your reply.  The PC is in a remote location which I only get to one a week so my reply is late in coming.

I tried what you suggested and it didn't help.  I think it may be a problem with the satellite internet service provider.  I will check to see  if that is where the problem is and report back.

By the way, my iPad has upload speed of 5 mbps and the HP PC has 1.2 mbps.

@Jimzed the product you have contains the Wireless LAN 802.11b/g/n featuring Single-band (2.4Ghz) 1x1, which is comparatively slower than a dual-band (2x2) wireless card, the speed in such single band cards are usually less and should explain why its different from other computers you've got, nevertheless, I suggest you check with the ISP to change the router channels to make a slight impact on the connection and let us know about the updates.

Good luck and Good day, ahead.
