Product: hp elite 800
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have noticed the last few days that as the day goes on my network speed gradually slows down.  I have 80Mb service. speedtest this morning was about 82Mb. now it's down to 50 and if I don't restart the PC it will gradually degrade to 1Mb. after a restart it will go back to the 80+.  Have had the PC since the beginning of nov 2019.  the current NIC update in HP assist will not install. It fails to complete. there was a NIC update a month or so ago that did install. no way to tell if it's the same one. I am using an ethernet connection.
