Can I upgrade my current 2,4 wireless card to a 5G card?  If so, any recommended devices?

Hi:

 

According to the product specs and parts list for your PC, it has a Broadcom wifi card.

The parts list and specs also indicate that your PC has two antenna wires connected to the card.

 

If that information is correct (I suggest that you open up the PC and confirm that there are two antenna wires connected to the card), then this would be the best dual band AC wifi card you can install...

 

Broadcom BCM4352 802.11ac 2x2 Wi-Fi + Bluetooth 4.0 combo    HP part # 724935-001.

 

You can find this model in used but tested and working condition on eBay.

Search by the HP part number, not the model of the wifi card.
