All In One 2305

Refuses to power up, power adapter replaced no change. Remanufactured motherboard dropped in, same problem.

Once open i note that LED "r334 led2' is Lit up when i plug in the power, but when i press the power button, the fan never comes on and that LED powers down. From then on it refuses to try to power up (LED Does not ccome back on).

Once i remove the power adapter and plug it back in the LED comes back on but again goes off when the power button is pressed.

Every single cable in the board has been removed and attemps made but nothing helped.

CPU Has not been placed and is a possible culprit but it acts like something shorts when the power button is pressed.

I also replaced the 3 button power board, however that doesnt seem to be the power button side anyways, just input.up/down buttons.

Any hints how to track this down, perhaps the manufactured MB I got is also defective but its doughtful.

@RonHensley

Thank you for joining HP Forums.

I'll be glad to help you 🙂

As I understand the computer isn't booting into windows or powering on for that matter though the motherboard has been remanufactured,

No worries, as I'll be glad to help you, that said, I'll need a few more details to dissect your concern & provide an accurate solution:

What is the product number of your product? Use this link to find it: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03754824

Have you attempted any steps on your own before posting on the HP Forums?

Which Operating System do you have on this PC?

Did you consult an HP Tech before replacing or remanufacturing the motherboard? (considering, it's not supported or recommended by HP)

That said,  while you respond to my query, you could go over the basics (sometimes, we may miss the little things causing the big issues)
please try the steps mentioned on this link: Click here

Eager to help!

Feel free to post your query for any other assistance as well,

It's been a pleasure interacting with you and I hope you have a good day ahead.

If you wish to show appreciation for my efforts, mark my post as Accepted Solution.
