HP Recommended
HP Pavilion Desktop 550-035
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

No AMD graphics driver is installed or the AMD is not funcioning properly.

Please install the driver appropriate for your hardware.

When I turn on the computer I receive the above message and tried but was not able to result the problem.

Can anyone help me to do it?

@Echipe

Welcome to HP Forums,

This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips,

Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you out 🙂

As I understand the AMD Radeon (TM) 5R Graphic card driver isn't working at times,

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

Did you update the BIOS & the AMD graphics card drivers from HP's official website? Click here to access it, if you haven't.

While you respond to that, here's a few things you try:

  1. Remove the currently installed AMD driver.
  2. Click Start, type "Device Manager," and press Enter.
  3. Expand the "Display Adapters" section.
  4. Right click on your video card and select "Uninstall."
  5. Once the uninstallation is complete you can download and install this driver.
  6. Reboot the notebook and verify whether the problem persists.

Keep me posted for further assistance 😉
