Aero Status: Disabled

HP Pavilion p6310y desktop PC. Graphic device adapter NVIDIA Ge Force 9100. Had virus, that was cleared but now can't play video games. It tells me, " Aero Status: Disabled". Computer has original graphics card.

Please help with as simple instructions as possible as I'm new at this and afraid to mess with the computer. Thank you very much for your help.
