Affordable graphic cards for dc 5800 sff small form factor?

My PC is dc 5800 sff small form factor with Core 2 Duo 3.0GHz, 4Gb RAM. Now it is running with the Intel Graphic Media Accelerator 256Mb. I find difficulty to play games ( like Pro Evolution Soccer 2015 ) in full resolution. I m doing researches on many kinds of video cards, but it seems impossible because of their diversity. Affordable graphic cards for dc 5800 sff small form factor?

I saw some posts on HP forum that said HD 6450 1Gb is okay; however, I want to make "extra 1Gb" room for the future. And I had Msi Hd 6450 2Gb and Asus Gt 630 2Gb(GT630-SL-2GD3-L) on mind, but not sure if it will works purposely on my PC.

Can you help me and suggestions are appreciated?

Thanks.

Affordable graphic cards for dc 5800 sff small form factor?

Hi:

I don't see why the 2 GB memory models wouldn't.

The 1 GB models draw less than 30W of power.  I can't imagine the 2 GB memory models would draw much more but I can't find any specs on those.

DVI Max Resolution : 2560x1600 Interface

DVI Output : Yes x 1 (DVI-D)
HDMI Output : Yes x 1

Power Consumption up to 75W - no additional PCIe power required

Software ASUS GPU Tweak & Driver ASUS Features Super Alloy Power

Silent Series Dimensions 5.39 " x 2.71 " x 1.18 " Inch

the Msi HD 6450 2gb specs:

Core Clock: 625 MHz
Memory Clock: 1066 MHz

And I believe its power consumption is the same ( up to 75W)

If they both can work perfectly, which one is better, or any more suggestions ?

Thanks

Hi:

The 630 is too powerful.  You can't use that card (or even the 1 GB model).

I was thinking of the GT 610 which uses less than 30W.  See if there is a2 GB model of that one.

Hi:

The power supply is proprietary which means you can only use that one.

That means you have to tailor a graphics card to work with the existing configuration.

The GT 610 or HD 6450 should work within the limits of the 240W power supply your PC has.

Either card should be a lot better than the onboard Intel card.

You're very welcome.

Please post back and let us know how your video card upgrade went.

Make sure whatever card you get that the low profile brackets are included in the box.

Super!

Enjoy your new video card.

Did you know how to enable the onboard sound when the video card disabled it?
