All-in-One Windows Driver Update

HP 23se All-in-One PC
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Does anyone else with a HP23se All-in-One PC using Windows 10 operating system continue to have problems with driver updates?  My computer doesn't appear to be compatiable with some driver udpates and support has told me that I will have re-install old drivers every 14-15 days for the system to operate properly.  I've only have the computer for 6 months and this has been an issue since the first month.  I'm interested in knowing if anyone has found a solution other than calling tech support each time.

All-in-One Windows Driver Update

Hi there @BF24,

Welcome to the HP Support Forums!  It is a great place to find the help you need, from other users, HP experts, and other support personnel.  I understand that your computer is having an issue with updates. I am happy to help with this.

Please post the full product number for your computer. See the following, if you need help with that information.  HP Desktop PCs - How Do I Find My Model Number, Serial Number or Product Number?

What is the source of the updates that is causing your issues?  Is it the automatic updates from Windows 10, or is it the HP Support Assistant?

If it is the automatic Windows 10 updates, then you can make a change to your system so that they will not update automatically. What you can do is set all of your connections to the internet as metered connections. See this nice page on the subject: How, When, and Why to Set a Connection as Metered on Windows 10 - howtogeek.com.

If it is the HP Support Assistant installing something that is the culprit, then you can change its update settings to "Check for updates, but let me choose when updates to download and install". This option appears  when you click "More Options".For more information please see: HP PCs - Using HP Support Assistant (Windows 10, 8, 7).

Please let me know whether that works for you, and if it does resolve your issue, please mark this post as a solution. Kudos would also be appreciated.
