I had Internet Explorer 7, I think, which came on my computer when I purchased it. There was a message about a week ago saying there was an upgrade available. (Internet Explorer 8). I accepted the upgrade,and since then I have been getting pop-ups saying "an error has occurred, Internet explorer has quit working and please close. I can pull up a web page and try to work with it and I get this message every time. Please help!!

With IE closed
Go to Control Panel, > Internet Options > Advanced Tab, hit the Reset button.
When that is done go back to the advanced tab and Tick the box next to
"empty temporary Internet files folder when browser is closed", hit OK.
See if IE works without errors now.
