BDDVDRW CH30L BC56 firmware update

Product Name: HP ENVY 700-010xt CTO Desktop
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

This computer came with a Blu Ray disc player BDDVDRW CH30L BC56. So far it has operated well but I recently purchased an SHM SACD the drive does not recognize the disc at all. Is there a firmware update or same way to get the drive to recognize the disc.

The drive recognizes all other discs including regular SACD's but not the SHM SACD. I have tried several different software media solutions (Foobar, J River, Korg) that recognize DSD files and SACD's as well but when checking the drive itself in a "my PC" settings it does not show up as recognizing the disc at all. All software players say the drive is empty.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am able to play the SHM SACD on my Sony Blu Ray Player but want to be able to play the disc in my office on my computer as well.

I see you are having issues with your SHM-SACD format CD playing correctly. This is not a supported format.

Please note that SHM-SACDs are fully compatible with regular SACD players, but they do not play on standard CD players.

The drive in question is actually a blu ray player and I have used it for other SACD releases, just not SHM. Since it capable of play SACD's I was hoping there was a way, or firmware update that would enable the drive to recognize the newer format.
