Bios chip location HP envy touchsmart 23 D-290

HP envy Touchsmart 23 D-290
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Looking for location on motherboard where the Bios chip is located, I have a new one to solder in and not 100% sure which one is the Bios chip.

will not post, turns on, fan runs, dvd cycles , black screen

I am not sure where it is located on your model laptop BUT.

I notice that alot of HP laptops/desktops have a DOT on the BIOS chip.

 

Let me know if you find it.

Its an all in one desktop , no visiable yellow dot anywhere....
