HP ENVY 23 All-in-One 23-c023
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi I have a contractor trying to encrypt with bitlocker but fails at restart for bitlocker system check.

Machine does not have a TPM chip so she is using USB key but is this machine/BIOS even compatble with bitlocker?

Many thanks

Hi @techmecca,

Welcome to HP Forums, this is a great place to get support, find answers and tips.

Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you.

I understand that your HP ENVY 23-c023a All-in-One Desktop PC fails at restart for BitLocker system check.

This issue could occur if BitLocker is not compatible.

Let's go through a few steps to troubleshoot this issue.

And here's the step by step guide for you in the link: Using BitLocker Drive Encryption

Let me know if this helps.

You have a good day ahead.
