I bought hp pavilion 15-ab516 TX yesterday night and on using that night only at home I found a blue-green sparkling spot on my laptop screen. I restarted the machine twice to check if it persists or not. But it hasn't disappeared. On checking with the hp dealer initially he said it's common and he couldn't do anything. But later on he said I should call hp and they will direct him about the next step.
What should I do to get it replaced? As I haven't used it at all and don't want a part to be replaced only.

The issue which you are referring to seem like a Bright dot sub-pixel defects, that is permanently "on", displaying a colored red, green, or blue spot on the display at all times. And as the time goes by this spot will grow in size.
In order to understand the HP Pixel Policy, Please refer to below links:

I would suggest you to contact and Hp Techincal Support and raise this concern ASAP. And they will assist you with replacement procedure.
