Boot Up Issue (HP desktop. Hard drive connection test failed. Error Code 3F0)

HP pavillion HPE Series
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hello, I am having bootup issues and any help would be appreciated.

Product Information

Model #: h8-1213c

Serial#: (removed content)

Product #: H2M23AA#ABC

Problem

I get the following screen upon bootup:

"Intel UNDI, PXE-2.0 (build 083)

Copyright (c) 1997-2000 Intel Corporation

For Atheros PCIE Ethernet Controller v2.1.0.9 (08/12/11)

Check cable connection!

PXE-MOF: Exiting Intel PXE ROM

Error: No boot disk has been detected or the disk has failed."

Probable Causes

The problem happened shortly after it wouldn't let me upgrade to windows 10 due to windows 10 not being compatible with HP smart assist.

HP Hardware Diagnostics Test

HP Hardware Diagnostics v1.06.00 brings up the following

"Hard Drive

Connection Test - Failed

Error Code - 3F0"

Notes/Observations:

First time I encountered this message (1 month ago) I was getting a beeping pattern. Not getting that anymore.

I went into startup and restored defaults. That logged me into windows momentarily and then I think it reset by itself. It then took me to the black screen shown above.

Any help would be appreciated.

As I understand you are having boot up issues in your HP desktop.

I do see that the hard drive connection test failed.

You can either check HP part store or replace the hard drive on your own or contact HP and replace the hard drive.
