CD/DVD drive Not Recognizing DVD+R RW Disks
01-24-2017 10:30 AM

My CD/DVD drive plays DVD's but does not recognize a DVD+R RW when I insert to burn. Drive just keeps whirling around real fast / then slow. Drive reads CD's fine and has worked just fine burning CD's in the past. How do I find out what model CD/DVD burner is present to determine what type of disks it will burn? Drivers for installed drives are HP DVD D DH16D5S and HP DVD-RAM 6H60L.

If the drive has any updations, please update it. After updating also you are facing the same issue, you need to visit the nearest service centre for checking whether it's hardware fault or not.

Just download VSO Inspector. You will get ver 2.0.2.0 (not the older version shown as example)
