Can I change from windows 7 professional to a gaming version?

Hi:

 

Changing the operating system from one version of W7 to another would have no impact on playing games.

 

If you are referring to the lack of the bundled Microsoft games, such as Solitare, Hearts, etc, you can add them to W7 Pro very easily by:

 

Go to the Control Panel>Programs>Turn Windows Features on or Off>then check the Games box.
