Changing the permissions of HP Advisor Dock on Windows 7 Desktop...

HP Recommended

Windows 7 64 Bit

Computer Type: HP Pavilion a4313w Desktop PC

I noticed when having multiple users on the computer, if one of them is using the HP Advisor dock , that it will inform you -- that only 1 person can use it at a time. If you wish to use it, to have the other user close it.

Is there a way of changing these permissions?

Hello TreJames,

HP Advisor can only be running by one user at a time. You can't have multiple users logged into the same machine running the program, unfortunately afaik there is no way around this.

Is there users that are logged on to the machine from time to time that don't need the program? You can tell HP Advisor to not run on certain user accounts which may help with what you are wanting to achieve.
