Compatible Ram with HP Pavilion p6345d

Hello, I have bought 2 x 2gb of Corsair VS2GB1333D3 Ram. After installing it,  I found that it is incompatible with my computer. I've asked in the forum and they told me corsair ram are made with the size of 512MB x 8 and my

This is the ram Im currently using ( http://www.elpida.com/eolpdfs/E1515E20.pdf ) which came when I bought my PC.  The question is :

1)Will this type of ram work on my PC? http://www.ec.kingston.com/ecom/configurator_new/partsinfo.asp?root=&LinkBack=&ktcpartno=KTH9600BS/2...

2)Since HP computers comes with locked bios, and the current speed of my ram is 1066mhz. Does that mean that when I buy ram with 1333mhz speed, it will downgrade to 1066mhz?

Sorry, this is a peer-to-peer user support forum. HP maintains no official presence here. We are users, like yourself, trying to help other users with their HP computer issues. The documentation I have available is what I have already presented. Per HP's p6345d posted specs;

Supports DDR3 DIMMs only

Dual channel memory architecture

Two DDR3 DIMM (240-pin) sockets

DIMM types:

PC3-10600 (DDR3-1333)

PC3-8500 (DDR3-1066)

PC3-6400 (DDR3-800)

Non-ECC memory only, unbuffered

Supports 2 GB DDR3 DIMMs

Supports up to 4 GB on 64-bit PCs

Maximum memory only if using 2GB DDR3 DIMM modules

And per Kingston's detailed memory search for HP p6345d;

Standard Memory:

1 GB  (Removable)  or

2 GB  (Removable)  or

3 GB  (Removable)

Maximum Memory: 4 GB

Expansion: 2 Sockets

CPU & ChipSet: Intel Core 2 Duo  2.93  GHz   Intel G41

Bus Architecture: PCI; PCI Express; SSD - SATA 2.5-inch 9.5mm; USB

Mfgr's System P/N's: BK122AA

Comments:
MODULES MAY BE INSTALLED ONE AT A TIME; however, they must be added in like pairs to take advantage of dual-channel support.

If 4GB is installed, the recognized memory may be reduced to 3.5GB or less (depending on system configuration and memory allocation). Maximum configurations require a 64-bit operating system.

Per HP documentation, system supports DDR3-1333 PC3-10600 memory which may run at slower speed depending on system configuration. (This means it may run at 1333 or it may fallback to a lower speed depending on a number of factors)

Re: Compatible Ram with HP Pavilion p6345d

Thanks for the reply. But I would like to know if I purchase the Kingston ram, 1333mhz, will it downgrade to 1066mhz when I install it? Since the HP bios is locked.
