Computer not responding to Graphics Card/Freezes up in Games

Hello All.

Recently I've updated my Drivers, and almost everygame I've played has just been freezing after 10 Mins of gameplay. It stay's on the screen for about 2 Mins, then closes off along with the app it was running on (Steam). Before i had updated my drivers, everything was fine. I've tried to downgrade the Catayst and I've tried to roll back the driver's for the Video Card, but it wont work no matter what. After 3 days, I once again uninstall AMD Catalyst, and now my graphic card won't work. I would reset the computer many times just for the Monitor to get signal, but once more, it was a failure. I'm begging for help here, and if anybody can help me, I commend you! So please, please, please, please, help me, thank you, and have a wonderful day!

PC Specs:

10 GB Ram

XFX AMD Radeon HD 7750

Power Supply 300 Watt

Computer Name: h8-1414 PC, (Changed Video Card)

Re: Computer not responding to Graphics Card/Freezes up in Games

Hi,

Run your game offline.

Check the XFX manufacturer's web site for the recommended power supply size. I think you will be surprised.

So it might be the Power Supply I'll have to upgrade, but would the Graphics Card still be ok, or is it dead. Smiley Sad

Hi,

I can't say for sure if that particular model of the AMD 7750 will work or not.  The card may be defective or you have other issues with your PC.  You might try a bigger PSU or try a NVIDIA graphics card.  Review this thread.

Re: Computer not responding to Graphics Card/Freezes up in Games

Well, I really haven't had any problems. The only problem i would have before and after the update was that some apps would be open, but i couldn't see them. Ie. Google Chrome would be seen as opened after I've clicked on the app, but there was no overlay for me to use it, it was sort of invisible.

Hi,

Well you did modify your PC configuration by changing the graphics card or is that not the case?  Let's get the straight facts and not any misdirection information.
