Computer not starting

HP touchsmart 300

Hi, I have an HP Touchsmart 300 operating windows 10, it was shut down correctly but today when I turned it on the fan started normally for about 2 seconds, the fan then started running very fast and loudly and the screen stayed blank, have tried resetting by holding the start button but nothing seems to work, any help would be appreciated. If a download is required I have a seperate laptop I can download to a USB. I don't have any restore discs,

As I understand the computer is powering on, however, doesn't have a display on the screen anymore, Don't worry as I have a few steps to help you get through this concern,

 

To provide you with an accurate solution, I'll need a few more details:

Was there any update/reset interrupted recently?

Have you performed any troubleshooting steps before posting this on HP Forums?

 

In the meantime, let's try these steps here:

 

Perform a Hard reset on the PC

 

Attempt a Bios Recovery

 

If the above steps work and the display turns on: Perform a hardware test to be on a safer side.

 

If the steps didn't work, use the below links for further assistance:
