Computer stuck on Logo and is updating, but stuck at 9%

HP Phoenix 810 810st
Microsoft Windows 8.1 (32-bit)
My computer automatically updated when I turned it on. It's on the HP logo screen. The update stops at 9% and won't budge for the past 2 days.

Computer stuck on Logo and is updating, but stuck at 9%

Greetings,

810 810st is not a valid product number.

Phoenix  810 models are 64 bit systems.

I have never seen a Windows Update configure at the HP logo.

I am fuzzy on what is happening.

Cheers!

Hi,

Maybe it is an HPSA update that is stuck.

I have never seen this happen.

Did you create a Microsoft Recovery drive?

You could boot to that and try a System Restore.

Please see this HP document detailing various recovery options when using Win 8.x operating system.

Jay
