D530 Fan Problems

I have n HP D530 CMT (PH660UC) motherboard that is having fan problems. At boot both fans run but then shut off after about a minute. System still runs but brings up chasis fan error. Using 2 pin fan for case fan instead of 3 pin. Sometimes system error both CPU and Case fans not detected. Have not ran past post to see if CPU fan is thermally shut off. Heatsink seems warm enough to not be the issue. Need urgent help!

Re: D530 Fan Problems

Hi,

This should have been posted in the Business Support Forum. Consider flashing the BIOS on this issue. Three pin fan should be in place for case fan as the third pin is the sense leg.

regards,
