Solved!

Display on Windows 7

HP Recommended

I have been doing some changes to my HP Pavillion s5370t loaded with Windows 7.  During the time I made some display changes and somehow removed one of the Windows 7 options I really liked - the one where you position your cursor over the icon on the bottom of the screen and get previews of the actual web pagesw (for IE).    I now have a list of webpages, but no preview.

 

What did I do and how can I undo it?

Right mouse click on the Task bar, select properties and see if AERO peek is checked.

Yes, it is checked...but it is also grayed out so I can't change it.

Go to Personalize and select an Aero theme.  Also read this article.
