So I can click on the LED indicator which shows the status of the keyboard, but it minimises as soon as you do anything else. What indicates the status of caps lock, there is no light on my keyboard and no indication on the monitor. Do I have to click the LED indicator everytime I type to check whether the caps lock is on?
HP LED Indicator (hopefully the program which is a green box with an 'A' in taskbar) shows you if Caps lock, Num lock or scroll lock is on. Rick clicking the green box in taskbar will bring up a small rectangle with '1', 'A' and a down arrow. If caps lock is on the 'A'will glow green, if num lock the '1' and if scroll lock the downward arrow.
Usefull when you cant see the top of your keyboard and want to know if any 'locks' are on or if you dont have any indicators at all.
But the problem is that the icon doesn't change as you type. It's showing in the taskbar as a green 'A' icon, but when I hit either shift or caps lock there is no change, it just stays green. It's only if you click on it that the status is shown in a separate box, but that only stays up for about 5 seconds. How do I keep it up all the time?
